  • Dermatology 2019 provides a vibrant platform for sharing knowledge among the Dermatologists, cosmetologists focusing on the New Research and Treatments. The workshops are designed for academia and industrial benefits who want to have updated knowledge on management and treatment techniques. The Conference gathers expert surgeons in the world to share their experience and guide participants to explore advanced surgical techniques.

    The Dermatology 2019 invites abstracts related to the new scientific research in all the fields of skin disorders, surgery and treatment methods and its related aspects. Registrants are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for oral and poster presentation. In general we encourage more specific to the current research fields representing innovation and recent technologies. Abstracts received will be reviewed by scientific committee from aspirants and categorized as speaker talks and poster presentations.


    Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. Its modern skyline is dominated by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. Session 1: Dermatology

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, nails, hair and its diseases. It is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist is specialist doctor that manages diseases, in the widest sense, and some cosmetic problems of the skin, hair and nails

Session 2: Keloids

The procedures, techniques, and principles of cosmetic surgery are entirely focused on enhancing a patient’s appearance. Improving aesthetic appeal, symmetry, and proportion are the key goals. Cosmetic surgery can be performed on all areas of the head, neck, and body. Because the treated areas function properly, cosmetic surgery is elective.

Session 4: Hair Transplantation

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the 'donor site', to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. The technique is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness.

Session 5: Cosmetics and Skincare

Skin moisturizers, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, eye and facial makeup preparations, cleansing shampoos, permanent waves, hair colors, and deodorants, as well as any substance intended for use as a component of a cosmetic product. Cleansers are products that are intended to clean the skin by removing dirt, oil, makeup, and dead skin cells. They contain special ingredients that help to unclog pores and to prevent skin conditions such as acne. They may also contain moisturizers to prevent the skin from drying out.

Skin cancers including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma often start as changes to your skin. They can be new growths or precancerous lesions changes that are not cancer but could become cancer over time. An estimated 40% to 50% of fair-skinned people who live to be 65 will develop at least one skin cancer.

Session 10: Laser technology in Dermatology

The first lasers used to treat skin conditions occurred over 40 years ago. Argon and carbon dioxide (CO2) lasers were commonly used to treat benign vascular birthmarks such as port-wine stains and haemangiomas. Although these birthmarks could be effectively lightened, a side effect was the unacceptably high rate of scar formation. In the last 20 years, advances in laser technology have revolutionised their use in the treatment of many skin conditions and congenital defects, including vascular and pigmented lesions, and the removal of tattoos, scars and wrinkles. There is a spectrum of laser and light technologies available for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation.

Session 11: Cosmeceuticals

Cosmeceuticals are the marriage of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Think: antioxidant plus lipstick or retinol plus face serum. "Cosmeceuticals will contain active ingredients that are known to be beneficial to humans in some way "For example, vitamin C is a known antioxidant and when this is added to a lotion or cream the product is considered a cosmeceutical."

Session 13: Carboxy Therapy

Carboxytherapy is treatment for cellulite, stretch marks, and dark under-eye circles. The treatment can be applied to the eyelids, neck, face, arms, buttocks, stomach, and legs. It uses infusions of carbon dioxide, a naturally occurring gas in the body. It’s a quick, 15- to 30-minute outpatient procedure. You can return to normal routines immediately, aside from swimming and bathing in a tub for 24 hours after treatment for cellulite or fat reduction.

Session 14: Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, is a plastic surgery procedure for correcting and reconstructing the nose. There are two types of plastic surgery used – reconstructive surgery that restores the form and functions of the nose and cosmetic surgery that improves the appearance of the nose.

Session 15: Current Research in Dermatology and Cosmetology

Skin photoaging is on scales of successful cures by reconstructive surgeries. Skin grafting techniques are used to treat skin burns. Skin rejuvenation and resurfacing are another trending techniques performed with the help of lasers. This market is topmost leading segments in the cosmetology industries. Photo-rejuvenation treatments have increased about 36% globally as compared to previous year statistics.

Authors of accepted abstracts are pre-approved for registration. All other researchers must Sign up and register towards the conference.

A very limited number of spots are available for individuals in Keynote/Plenary positions.  Some of the Keynote and Plenary Speakers will have an opportunity to chair any session during the conference.

25 Oral presentation spots are available for 2-day events. The individual speaker is allowed to present a maximum of 2 talks at the conference.

Plenary Talk: A plenary talk of a conference which all members of all parties are to attend. Such a session may include a broad range of content, from keynotes to panel discussions, and is not necessarily related to a specific style of presentation or deliberative process.





Keynote: This is a talk on a specific theme which represent the whole subject of the conference. Keynotes are usually delivered by Professors, President of associations, MD and above.



Oral Presentation: A presentation is a process of presenting a topic to an audience. It is typically a demonstration, introduction, lecture, or speech meant to inform, persuade, inspire, motivate, or to build goodwill or to present a new idea or product.



Delegate: One who gains knowledge, comprehension or mastery through experience or study; someone who learns or takes knowledge or beliefs; one that is learning; one that is acquiring new knowledge, behaviour’s, skills, values or preferences.



Poster Presentation: A poster presentation, at a congress or conference with an academic or professional focus, is the presentation of research information, usually peer-reviewed work, in the form of a poster that conference participants may view. A poster session is an event at which many such posters are presented.



Workshop: A workshop is designed to teach something or develop a specific skill while an academic conference is about presenting original research and getting feedback from peers. A workshop doesn't necessarily have to present original research; it is directed more towards teaching and learning in an interactive environment.



E-poster: An e-Poster or digital poster is a digital presentation of research that is presented within a congress.



Video Presentation: Animated or recorded video describing a research or review topic. Video talks for usually not more than 20-30mins)
